Happy ever after happens in fairy tales, they say. Well, guess what? They lied to you kids. The happy ever after is dead.
Prince charming cheated on his princess with her ugly sister while drunk, the seven dwarfs were imprisoned for raping baby squirrels and the evil step mother survived, had a plastic surgery and is planning her revenge.
Does anyone care at all? No, why should they? As long as it's someone else's back yard the land mines are blowing up, we choose to keep our eyes and ears shut.
And those who can't, they just keep on talking. A lot of lush words about how they're going to make it all so much better. All words, no action.
We're used to being lied to, we're numb to the fact that they doubt our intelligence every day, several times a day.
And when someone actually lifts their bum off the comfortable leather couch and tries to make those thing happen, they're either frowned upon or stamped mentally challenged. Hushed away in some asylum in the middle of Nowhere land, where they're no threat to the fucked up "balance" of this world.
